Newbie on PCB Editor

Hello everyboby !!!

 

I am newbie on PCB editor , I have make my shematic with Orcad Capture CIS, And I really don't know where to retrive the

information on how to transfer my shematic on the PCB Editor.  I have made the cross reference report, design rules check, and

the netlist...

I work with version 16.0

    You are experiencing the first step in learning about schematic-to-pcb tool translations.  That is the schematic symbols you have for parts must correlate "pin-for-pin" to the physical symbols you have for board layout.  Otherwise, the translation will not be made correctly, and you will receive such error messages.

    Check your schematic symbol pin numbers/names and make sure they are identical to those defined on your pcb footprint pin numbers/names.  Once everything matches identically, you should be able to import your schematic netlist into the PCB tools.

    Hello all, I am new to PCB editor, i am facing one problem while generating netlist in OrCAD capture. The problem is "After giving all the necessary information in PCB Editor tab during netlist generation, whenever i click on generate netlist the system will be keep quite and it perform the necessary operation" after this i checked the configuration file, it is not taking the ".cfg" file automatically. After assigning .cfg file also the software is not creating netlist. Please help me to come out from this problem. I am using Cadence v16.3 Operating system: Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit I am using this software: In Compaq laptop Thanks for reading my mail. Warm regards, Hanumagouda Patil
