I have save the color and visibilty settings of my one project (16layer board). then when i try to use the color settings in my other projects, it wont apply. does it need to be same layer count project? please advice. its very troublesome to set the color settings everytime i got a project. tnx in advance.

If you are on the latest software release (16.01) then you can export the color settings from one design to another using file - export - parameters and make sure you check the color check box. Then go to the new design and use file - import - parameters.

If your not on the latest the you can record a macro of you setting the colors up then replay that in each design you want to use the color settings for.

    Hope this helps.
