Creating Module in Allegro

Sammy
Sammy over 17 years ago

Hi All,

I'm having a problem. I created a board using a netlist imported from OrCAD Capture CIS. The board is done, but I want to create a "module" so I can duplicate it on a large PCB Panel. The error I get is this:

E- (SPMHUT-1): Illegal character(s) present in the name or value.
E- (SPMHDB-279): Could not transfer logic.

I can not create a module out of the board. Also, if I attempt to just copy the board, it loses all connectivity so that my dynamic planes are no longer connected correctly.

 Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Sam

     What version are you using?

Do you have the hotfix installed?

At which point do you get the errors listed above?

What level of Allegro PCB Editor (L, Performance or XL) are you using?
