spice model question

I'm trying to simulate a circuit that has an infineon bfr750 in it. My libraries do not contain it and all I'm given from the the infineon website is a .CIR file and a set of .S2P file. How do I create this part with the parameters I was given?

Looks like you are running a base release. Contact your Cadence Channel Partner or SourceLink account to get the latest hotfix, that should ensure that the "bugs" are taken care of.

Refer to Appendix C of the PSpice Users Guide, pspug.pdf in the doc\pspug directory of the installation.

The contents of the CIR file are probably fine. Firstly, rename the original CIR file to have a ".lib" extension. Open the file with the Model Editor, Start>Programs>{OrCAD group}>PSpice Accessories>Model Editor, then use FIle>Open and point to the LIB file. use File>Save to get the formatting set for PSpice. Use File>Export to Capture Part Library to make a schematic part for Capture, for a SUBCKT, this will be a "black box" rectangle with pins. In the design, use Place>Part to add the new schematic library and place the part, complete the circuit. In the simulation profile, go to the Configuration files tab, pick the Library option, select the LIB file and use the "Add to Design" button to add the lib file to the design. Run the simulation. If you get an "Undefined Subcircuit" the LIB file is not correctly configured, otherwise everything should work.
