Zcopy with net name change

Is it possible to zcopy a shape to one of the etch layers and assign a new net name to the resulting shape?

I'm trying to create a GND pour on the top etch layer by using a shape I've already created from the package keep in layer.

I'm currently able to zcopy the shape to the top etch layer, thus creating the dynamic shape I'm looking for.  However, OrCAD assigns the new shape to the net "Dummy Net" and I can't figure out how to change the net from "Dummy Net" to GND.

 Any ideas?

Chris

     Michael,

Thanks for that detailed explination, it was really helpful.

I think I've finally figured out the solution to my original problem of changing a shape's net.  (if there's an error with what I've written below, please let me know)

I didn't realize that there was a difference between simply selecting a shape in the editor window and using "Shape->Select Shape or Void" to select a shape.  Turns out when I use the latter it allows me to change the "Assign net name" and "Shape grid" fields in the options window, which is exactly what I was looking for.  Furthermore, once I've used  "Shape->Select Shape or Void" to select a shape,THEN by right clicking the pop up menu enables a couple other things such as copying the shape to other layers.  Great!  However, if I simply select a shape in the editor window without first choosing  "Shape->Select Shape or Void" I am unable to change net names, etc.

OrCAD is the most unintuitive software I've ever used... but I'm slowly getting it :) Thanks to those who have replied to my posts so far!
