How to mirror the board out line

Hello all,

How to mirror the board outline. I have drawn a semi circled, one side flated board outline. I came to know that drawn outline is back view of the bard. all components are going to be placed another side of the baord. If I proceed with same outline , i should consider component side as bottom layer and it will be bit confuse for placement. I would like to mirror the board so that component side wold be on top layer. Just like turning a sheet.

I am using Orcad PCB editor 16.0, how can i get it done without westing time to redraw whole thing. let me know your valuable skills pls.

    Hi,
The easiest way to do this is do an Edit>copy window around the board outline and then RMB(Right Mouse Button) mirror geometry. Pick a new location for the copy and after your done delete the old outline.

The other, easy way, is the EXPORT TO SUBDRAWING (copy to clipboard), and IMPORT it back in. When you import it, you can mirror the image too.

     Good day

I don't see where you can mirror on this command, my options allow me only to Rotate the subdrawing.  Can you go through the command sequence that allows you to mirror a Imported subdrawing?

My bad. It doesn't do it on import/subdraing (only rotate).

You can copy/mirror like was mentioned, or another way is to Manufacture/Dimension/Create Detail; set scale to 1; select the outline; RMB mirror. This will work too.

    Good day. Mitch
