SPECTRA &ALLEGRO PCB ROUTER

Hi all,

I am new to spectra autorouter. When I open spectra for orcad from orcad 10.5, it is linking to Allegro PCB Router ver. 15.5.

So, is it the upgraded version of spectra?

what is the latest & advanced tool to start now?

any suggestions?

    SPECCTRA and Allegro PCB Router are fundamentally the same thing, the version numbers are in a different range for historic reasons but you basically have the correct tools for that version, 10.5 of the OrCAD tools would have been the same as 15.5 of the Allegro tools, all the tools are now 16.x
