Both Solid and Crosshatched Dynamic Shapes

Is it possible to have both dynamic solid shapes (internal layers used for power planes) and crosshatched (top layer shielding) at the same time?  It appears that all of the shapes are are controlled by the Global Dynamic Parameters, so I expect that the answer is no.

    Hello,

Initially, the dynamic shapes are driven by the Global Dynamic Parameters but after the shape is drawn you can override it by accessing the Dynamic Parameters at the instance level.  Select the shape and the Right Mouse Button popup will have an option called Parameters where you have the ability to override any on the shape parameters for the selected shape only.

    Hope this helps,

     When I right click, I don't get a Parameters option, I get:

Move / Copy / Delete / Spin / Change to Layer / Add Connect / Property Edit / Fix / Show Element

I get the same whether I first left click on it to select it or just right click on it.

It sounds like you are using Allegro 16.x so to clarify you have to get to the "Select Shape" Right mouse button popup.

    1. Select Shape using "Select Shape or Void" from the Shape pulldown menu.
    2. Select shape using your left mouse button then right mouse button click to get access to the Shape popup.
    3. Second option from the bottom of the popup should be "Parameters" which will open up the instance level shape parameters form so you can make your modification.

Sorry about that - I should of been more clear with the description seeing that changes to Allegro 16.x content menus.

    Hope this helps,
