How to replace the package symbol of a component in Allegro Expert?

 Hello!

I have created a new package symbol in allegro and I want to replace the old package on the board  with the new one, but I can`t find such tool or option there.

Can anybody help me?

    Hi

    Unless the new package name is the same as the old one you can not replace it.

    When you want to replace one package with another you need to make the change in the schematic and re-import the netlist. The new package will replace the old one.

    If you are making a correction to package in your design you can refresh the symbol.

    Place>update symbols
