Placement Grid Snap

I have components placed.  I would like to go back and nudge them so that they line up.  How can I turn on grid snap so that as I move the parts they become aligned to the grid?   I have searched the Allegro PCB editor menus over and over and I don't see anything specific to component placement.

Thanks

what size grid are you trying to place parts on?  the parts should "snap" to whatever grid you have set.  in the options tab pick symbol origin.

Selecting the Body Center did not seem to have any affect on snapping

With regard to the grid, Under SETUP --> GRIDS, the grids spacing can be set.  However, this spacing would seem to be related to routing and perhaps not to placement.   Is there area where the placement grid would be set?   Then once set, how do you enable "Snap" or is it always enabled?

Entries for the Grid settings under Etch are the grid settings for etch, "non-etch" is the grid settings for "everything else".

All Etch is blank.  When I put a value in there and click ok, and then go back,it is cleared.  I don't seem to be able to set it.   Non-Etch is set to 4 mils.

I set the Non-Etch to 20 and then I could see that in fact the grid is working.     Thanks

When you enter something into All Etch it just pushes into the boxes below (the real layers).  It does not retain a value in that box.

Moving will snap on the grid set.  During placement it uses non etch.  During move, IIRC, it uses the etch grid
