Hi. All,

Does the Specctra use "Neck Mode" during routing or can it only be used in interactive routing mode?

    Hi,

PCB Router (previously know as Specctra) does not use neck mode. If you run a Route, Router Checks inside PCB Editor it will also tell you this.

PCB Router does have a taper wire function which means that it can decrease line width when it enters into a pad. Inside the PCB Router it is found under the Rules, object type, Clearance and you can set a taper length also.
