    Hi Shiva

You can extract IDF files which can be seen in mechanical softwares that have the import IDF files.

    IDF are 2 files

first representing the board outline ,holes, keepouts, components placement.

the second file contains 3D info about all components (extracted from the placebound subclass + height info )

There are few softwars that can view/export IDF files

    Hi, Try this:

    http://www.oracle.com/webapps/dialogue/dlgpage.jsp?p_ext=Y&p_dlg_id=7163482&src=6674433&Act=44

It is a 15 days demo of a sort of universal viewer.

It loads directly your brd file... and you can view it also is as a 3D image up to 16.2 version.

     Bye,

     Alicia
