Orcad Layout 15.7 -SST -file missing in post processing output

I am using Orcadlayout 15.. When I run the post processing the file with the extension SST (Silk Screen Top) is missing. It is a two layer board. All other files are Ok except the .SST. I can print the SST layer and see all texts. Any body has any idea.

Check that the SST is enabled for processing in the Post Processing spreadsheet.

In the Post Processing spreadsheet, pick the SST entry and check the properties are correct, if that is OK, use right-click>Preview, that will display the SST contents only. If that is incorrect, as in does not contain what you expect, use the Color settings to set which objects are used when the SST data is created.

I checked the SST properties in the post processing spredsheet. It is OK. In the preview I can see all legends. I changed the color setting for the SSt layer, still it is the same. Any more suggestions. Thanks.

    Hi,

My best guess is that you .sst files are registered inside windows and hence the extension is not shown. I've seen this numereous times on our hotline support.

The following may be a bit incorrect in naming since I don't use an US/UK version of Win XP.

Go into Explorer and select Tools, Folder Options, Show/Display and deselect "Hide known file extensions" and I'll bet that the file is present now.

     Good luck.

    Best regards,

    Ole
