env file setting or syntax requirements needed

I have been building various view/color files to create fabrication and assembly drawings by using the view>color view save command that creates a name.color file.

the desire to standardize the drawings will require that everyone points to the corporate library location for these assy1.color etc files

I am thinking that we could add a line to the env files to direct each designer to the central location of these files

the question is what would the syntax be for such an entry into the env file

would it be something like

set viewpath = . N:\views\PE14\ N:\views\PE13\

thanks in advance

I would recommend setting up the viewpath as required on one machine and then checking what is added to the env file on that machine as an example. This method will have the required syntax in the env file. Take this and reflect it in the env file on the other machines.

I have always added lines to the env file to do what I wanted, like

"set pcb_cursor = infinite" to keep the infinite cursor or

set display_nohilitefont for solid colored high-lighting

is there a line command that will set the location of where the color files are saved and what would it be?

The syntax is:-  set viewpath = directory
