What is .emn file?

 How to export ".emn" file from allegro 16.0 L & waht information it will give.

    An emn file is part of an IDF export. Use File - export - IDF. It generates two files, an enm file (related to the board) and an emp file (a library list of the components on your board). You can give these files to a Mechanical Engineer and they can generate a 3D view of your PCB Assembly.

    Also, check out the information in the doc/algroidf directory of your Cadence installation.  If you want to see what's actually in the file, you can open it with a text editor.  Here's a link to the IDF 3.0 spec; http://www.aertia.com/docs/priware/IDF_V30_Spec.pdf.
