How to create mechanical holes (drill holes) in Allegro PCB Editor

Hi I am new to Allegro PCB layout and Editor. I am designing a basic PCB board and I was able to make all the footprints and import the logic from the CSI Design capture. I placed all the parts also. Now i want to make drill holes / mechanical pins on the board to have stand offs and I am not sure as to how to do that as I don't have the mechanical pins / holes in the schematic. I know how to make a symbol for a hole but just don't know how to bring it into PCB Editor and place it on the board. Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

    Place->Manually

    Click on Advanced Settings tab and check the Library box

    Click on the Placement List tab

    Select Mechanical symbols from the pulldown

    Select the box to the left of the part you want to place and place it on the board

    Is there a way to change the path of the library setting....It doesnt seem to show me the list of symbols that i created.

    The package symbols and mechanical symbols both use the same path; psmpath.  If you put the mechanical symbols in a separate directory, you can add that directory to your psmpath either through the env file or the menu item Setup->User Preferences->Design Paths->psmpath (unless you're in 16.2, then it's Setup->User Preferences->Paths->Library->psmpath).

    Thank you so much. I was able to make my my mechanical symbol and bring it into my board
