Routing nets of same length

Hi,

How can we make the PCB Router to route nets of same length? (e.g. buses)

Thanks

You will need the appropriate product level to configure the constraints in PCB Editor and the appropriate product level for PCB Router - which would be Router Performance, or Performance Option for PCB Editor - then PCB Router will follow the length constarints as far as it is able within the confines of the design.

Is the "Allegro PCB Performance Option L" adequate for this?

If yes, which property refers to the length of nets in Constraint manager?

    Thanks

Perf L is good.  Look under Electical Constraints and learn about Relative Propagation Delays and Min/Max routing.  Both will get you there but there is a distinct difference.

Do some searches on here where I posted an archive for a guy looking how to do this.  It has a schematic and PCB for experimentation with these properties.

    Thank you redwire.

    I give it a try.

    Thanks redwire.

I've found those files, but what is the difference between matbus.brd and matbus16.brd?

Both have RELATIVE_PPROPAGATION_DELAY_TOL = 200 mils and they are routed differently.

    Regards,
