to create or save database in schematic

I completed one project. I need to store database,of footprint assigned to orcad symbols. I need to avoid assigning footprints again and again for the symbols.How to store or save this database.

    About the closest you are going to get is, select the project window and select the DSN file within that, then use Tools>Export Properties to export the Part properties to an EXP file, which is actually tab delimited text.You could use this data to update your libraries, or, if using CIS, start a database from this data and then use the part properties from this database in future designs.

    You can also Export and Import Properties from libraries as well to get "bulk" property updates to graphical library parts.
