Deleting only part of a Cline

EllieRye

I am using PCBEditor 15.7. If I have a long, complicated net and I want to only delete part of it, is there a way? It seems silly to route an entire net, make a mistake at the very end, then have to delete the whole thing, so I must be missing something...

Thanks,
Megan

Ah, I realized I can just right-click->Cut instead.

I think you have to choose edit>delete and then go to finds tab and click "All Off" then check "Cline Segment" and then click the cline portion that you want to delete.

Yes, there are two ways to delete the portion of the net. Either you can use the Edit>Delete or Delete icon. Then on the right side pallette click button "All Off" and select only the "Cline Segs".

And the second way is to click Edit>Delete or Delete Icon, then click right mouse button and there is a pop-up appear and click "Cut". Then select the portion of the net you want to delete.

If there is an existing Skill Program that can delete it more quickly, So that is a better way to do. :)
