Artwork for drill chart

Hello All,I need some help to create Artwork for drill chart and stackup drawing. In OrCad PCB Editor 16.2, in manufacturing class and Nclegend1-6 subclass I have a drill chart table and hole symbols for actual layout. After creating art files I import drill chart artwork and I can see only text from the table with no table itself and no symbols of the holes. And also another question is how to create stackup drawing.Thank you in advance.

Make sure your Undefined line width isn't set to 0 in the artwork setup.

Thank you for the fast responce. I tried both 0 and 3 for example - no difference. One more detail about the issue: when I create artwork the log file shows the next warning:

    FILM PARAMETERS :
      ---------------------------------------------------------
      Undefined line width                0.00
      Mirror code                         NONE
      Rotate angle                        NONE
      Offset x:                           0.00
      Offset y:                           0.00
      Plot negative                       NO
      Suppress unconnected internal pads  NO

WARNING: rectangle or unfilled shape composed 0 width line found at (-2400.00 -1954.00)
               ... ignored!

But, when I create ODB file it shows all the hole symbols and the table right.

You changed the Undefined line width to 3 on the Drill Film record but do you have a 3 mil line defined in you aperture table? (The answer is probably “Yes” but I had to ask because the table is not automatically updated)   Just for a quick test, change your Undefined line width to a value which matches other elements that are contained in the Drill Film record then regenerate the artwork.  This will rule out any aperture related issues.

Generating ODB++ from inside of Allegro extracts the information required to build the ODB File and does not generate or use Gerber files during creation so you may see some differences between the two outputs.

    Hope this helps,Mike Catrambone

Thank you Mike the problem is solved. Actually I didn't know that "Undefined line width" is a personal setup for each film. As soon as I changed it for the particular film it started to work. I still have a question regarding stackup drawing. Does anybody know how to create it?

The stackup drawing can be generated relatively easily. If I could attach a file to this message, I would. I don't see the tab.

You can send me an email (cadpro2k-at-yahoo-dot-com, note the @ and . ) and I'll send a couple .dra stackup details for you. It's easy to do.

    Good day. Mitch
