Unlink a fanout from a part

Hello,

is there anyway to sperated a part from it's fanout traces and via.  I renamed some symbols in a design and when I load in a new net list it removes all the fanout traces and via.  I'd like to keep them intact. If I fix these vias and trace of a fanout the symbol will not come in on the net list because of a fixed property attached to the symbol.

Thanks
