Need advice on creating assembly drawings

How are most people creating board assembly drawings?

Is the BOM added on the assembly drawing or seperate?

The company I work for only uses A size drawings which makes the component outlines and reference designators pretty small.

    Assembly drawing are printed through PDF or DXF format depending on board size ranging from A4~A0. The visibility to be displayed is the assemly body, assembly refdes, and other related subclass related on assembly and sheet format. The bottom assembly as standard is printed in mirror image for easy recognition on manufacturing side. Try to increase the dpi settings if outputting on PDF file format. BOM list is a separate document using .xls format or sometimes in HTML format. You may output the BOM list using Report>Bill of Material Report if the library on logic information is properly declared. For us usually the BOM list is already supplied by the customers.
