Software Orcad layout v. 15.7

I' ve problems with the post processing only for the top-layer. At all other layers (4 layer pcb) the post processing functions are o.k. but for the toplayer there will be no preview and no plot at all.

Is there any idea?

 Thank's so lot

What you get in the Post Processing is controlled by the colour settings for the preview. Open the Post Processing spreadsheet, right-click>Preview for the TOP, with the preview open, left-click on the colour icon, check the colour settings, you probably want a rule for Default(TOP), sounds like you may not have any. Right-Click in the colour dialog to get the rules menu, the convention is to set the colour for the rule to blue but this is not a requirement. Once the preview is correct, the post processing will be correct.

    Hallo Oldmouldy,

thanks for your help. It was something like that, but not at all. Because the color settings for preview were the same like in the layout window!?! But your opinions helped me to get another idea. I save the colorsettings from an other projekt, which was right, and loaded it into this one. Now the preview settings are o.k., everything works well.

    Thanks
