v16.2 display issues

Some new stuff here for me:

 1.  stripes with highlighted nets.  they only show up when I am zoomed way out.

 2.  everything is changing colors.  is there a way to defeat the darkened color of a nets you have highlighted?  When you actually select something, how do you control that color.  Seems like each color has some associated color that comes up when you select, or interrogate.

 3.  everything still flashes when I pass my cursor over it.  I can temporarily turn if off by turning off "application mode,"  but it comes right back and stay there as soon as I do something.  Is there a quick toggle to turn it off, or a setting that leaves it off unless you are actually in the middle of a command?

TIA.

     Hi!

By default, Allegro has a system of highlightning, as it does it when you are over a line, via or a selectable object.

Also it highlights the things you are selecting in Capture. If you are running those two programs with the same project and netlist, it will highlight everything you select.

In allegro, you have one button to De-highlight everything you need, like nets, symbols and all sort of selections you can do.

It's known that sometimes ghost higlightning may occur, but you only have to use the previous command.

Don't worry about that issues because they're part of the normal functioning of Allegro.

Please reply with your results or future problems!

    Thanks!

Have you turned off OpenGL to try that?

Stripes?  You might want to check the user settings and see if the display_nohilitefont is unchecked.  Should be checked.
