Importing a Mentor Neutral File into Allegro???

Does anyone know if it's possible to import a Mentor neutral file into Allegro? I'm sure it's not directly possible, but maybe someone knows a way to do it via another tool/translator?

Thanks!

File format as below...

# file : P:/blah/blah/mentor_schematics/top/pcb/mfg/neutral_file

No, I don't think so but Allegro PCB SI does have the ability to import Mentor BS PCB layout data wherein it requires GEOMS_ASCII and other component, net, traces, etc. files.  In Allegro PCB SI, click File > Import > Mentor

Yep, indeed it does. I've used the Mentor BS import many times (and the PADs import too) with much success - but am stuck with this neutral file. Thought there might be a convoluted route someone was aware of, like 'open in Agilent ADS, export out as IFF, etc.'

    Thanks anyway!

Logic swapped helped me before in translation services http://www.logicswap.com/ (this was cadstar to Allegro) they claim they can translate anything. And I certainly can vouch for there very good results.

Thanks for the link Quantum CAD. They certainly look like they've got all bases covered... providing it involves CADSTAR!

Why not just convert the BoardStation files into Allegro, AcAe (www.acae.com) has a migration tool (DART) which will do the job.
