DEHDL - new windows mode problem

Hi,

I'm experiencing a strange problem on WinXp platform when using DEHDL 16.2 with the new Windows mode (Tools->Options, then Enable Pre-Select Mode and Enable Windows Mode).  My DE-HDL version is 16.2-S010 4/20/2009.

When I select a user-added property, such as a signal name or a property attached to the component like ROOM=ABC, and then do RMB->Cut on the property,  DEHDL crashes.  This does not happen when I don't use the new Windows mode.

I'm trying to troubleshoot the problem to see if it is related to my computer/environment or the tool.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Well, I hope Cadence Support can fix your problem. Good luck.

The operation you describe is how the software is supposed to work. This lets the site be the "default" configuration, but allows a user to add further customization as they desire. In essence, the site configuration is a template. The documentation to describe the hierarchy of the files in in Cadence Help somewhere. Does this not work for you? Or are you saying that if the toolbars are customized, you get the menu files also even though the menu hasn't changed? That part I can't explain.
