OrCAD v4.40 and Windows XP

It's a long story, but we have to use this old DOS version of OrCAD. Anyway, it works well on Windows 2000, SP2.After a few minutes of schematic capture on WXP (SP2, Dell E6400, latest drivers), OrCAD freezes--the cursor does not respond to mouse movement. All other functions (non-schematic capture) work well.I use OrCAD's driver VGA640 (IBM VGA or Compatible 640x480 16 colors). The video card in this computer is an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M, A06, version 6.14.11.7947. Other users of slightly older Dell's using WXP also experience OrCAD locking up.I could not find any updated drivers for this version of OrCAD. I know v4.40 is OLD--some parts of the package are 1991. I've experimented with modifying the compatibility mode of all executables to no avail.
