Changing the net name of a via

 Hello

Is there a way to to change the net name of a via in PCB Editor 16.2?

I am having a few via's who is assigned to a 2V5 Net. I would like to assign them to GND.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to this. Is my only option to route a new via?

Regards

 Kim

First isolate the via, then just connect into it with the net you want.

Thank you for you're response but I can't make it work.

I have tried to connect to the 2V5 via from a GND via with a cline but I get a DRC (V-L) and the net for the via does not change.

    Any other suggestions

    Regards

    Kim

    1. Isolate the via.  Void any plane under it so it is not connected to any shape, or move the planes so they are outside the board outline.
    2. Connect the via with a cline to an entity assigned to the target net.
    3. Remove the manual void or move the shapes back where they belong.

    Hello again

    Thank you for the reply.

I have tried the above and I still can't make it work.

I have isolated the via and it is not connected to any net (Not On A Net). When I try to connect it to a an other net I get the following message:

    W- (SPMHA1-91): Illegal connection.

     Any ideas?

    Regards

    Kim
