Project Manager Error on Launch

We purchased "Allegro PCB Design CIS - L" (Cadence SPB 16.0) over two years ago. It was shelved since then, never installed (Don't ask why).

I've installed it on two Windows XP Pro. computers and have the same problem. Capture CIS and PCB Editor works OK. But when I try to launch Project Manager, I get these pop-up windowd errors:

"Unable to AfxLoadLibrary DLL", then "Unable to DllRegisterServer DLL", this repeats 3 times and then "SPI_ERROR: Failed to find "cdssetup/projmgr/cds.cpm", File not found. Include the installation directory in the path."

I've checked the Environment Paths and located the files on the drive.

Is Project Manager a paid for application or should this be working?

    Hi,

If you mean the Project Manager that is usually installed with DEHDL (not the embedded project manager that is part of Capture-CIS), then you should install the DEHDL (ConceptHDL) application. This would install the needed .dll files. Also, make sure the tools/fet/bin PATH variable is listed before any other tools paths.
