0201 SMT with rounded corners

Anyone seen real-world improvement of solderability with rounded vs square pads on 0201 resistors and caps?  Getting push back to go rounded but can't seem to get quantitative data that supports solderability improvement.

    I don't have any data to support round or square corners. It is our practice to round all SMT pads with a 2 mil radius. The upside, a rounded corner helps with dense routing. The downside, the library effort to support them. A change in pad size requires a new pad shape for the copper pad and the soldermask pad shape rather than  a quick update to the X and Y dimensions. What does the IPC recommend?
