Exporting ascii file from Cadence Allegro

I need to find out what are the steps of getting the cad in ascii format and also on how to get an ODB++ file from Allegro.  Can anyone give me a step by step instructions? - thanks

    As soon as you select File, Export, ODB++ inside it will ask if you want to download and install now. Just press YES for downloading and installing the ODB++

    It can't be easier than that.
