Constraint region and specctra

summer07

Hi,

I have constraint regions defined for BGAs and manually routed traces that go to the BGA pins.  So far so good.  When I then go to Specctra to route other nets (or even do nothing) and then save and return to Allegro, the original manually routed traces all appeared with a strange diamond figure wherever the etch intersected the constraint region - it appears that the clines have been broken into 2 at those diamond figures on the boundary of the constraint area.  Is this the expected behavior? How can I restore the original traces to the way they were?

Thanks
