I am relatively new to PCB Designer v16.2 (and this forum), but would like to know what is the process I should folow to create a cutout in my PCB. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Add the cutout using Board Geometry\Outline to the size required, then use edit - zcopy to create a route keepout area. When using z-copy you can contract or expand the outline you want to copy to a specific layer. You can then either dimension the cutout so the fabricator knows what it is.

You can also look at NC Route under manufacturing to generate auto files for the fabricator. You will have to add a nc route path (subclass under board geometry) and ncroutebits.txt (for the tool info).
