Changing text size and Autosilkscreen

I guess the refdes size comes in from the symbol but is there a way to select all the refdes on the board and set the size to whatever you want?

What does autosilkscreen do? It seems it moves text around to get it off pads and place outlines but I haven't observed that just think I read that. When I run it nothing happens to the text locations.

Autosilk creates a copy of refdes on Manufacturing/Autosilk_top; Manufacturing/Autosilk_bottom. Check if you have these two subclasses are made visible.
If you have this enabled, post the screen shot of the Autosilk menu settings.

    Good Luck!!

You can set your visibility such that just the ref designators are show.  Edit->Change then adjust the text size in the option window

Autosilk trims up silk that might be laying on pads...It does not move the text.  There is a freeware SKILL routine to move it off of via/pads.
