Import Mentor

In Allegro PCI SI XL I imported a mentor design that was already routed. The following files were imported:

geoms_ascii, tech.tech, nets.nets, comps.comps, pins.pins, traces.traces, testpoints.testpoints.

The gates file is missing. The import seem to work but I have many unrouted connections. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Thanks.

Try running a Tools - Derive Connectivity cherck both boxes and run then a Tools - Database Check, again check both boxes and run. Always worth doing after any kind of translation. I would also look at the shape types, make sure they are dynamic....
