How to verify if SMT pad contains solder paste

Hello All, I was wondering if there was a simple method of verifying if SMT pad is missing the solder paste from the board data. I used smd_pad_count.il and solder_paste.il in combination to figure out that there are mismatch in quantity but I could not get the exact locations. If any one have any simple method I would appreciate it if you could share the information. Thank you in advance.

In your color display, set global visibility to off, and then turn on just top pins and pastemask_top.

On the options tab select class Pin, and subclass Pastemask top.

Make sure that pin and pastemask are different colors.

You will now see the pin color for any padstack that does not have top pastemask.

This procedure can then be repeated for the bottom.

    Regards,

Hello Harold, Thank you for the reply. I found out that the color priority of the pastemask_top/bottom need to be higher then the pin so that color changes. I was hoping for some sort of skill or other method that will actually tell me the error location. This board I received is pretty large board and with through pins displayed it makes it difficult to check all pads. Thank you again for your help. It is much better than how I was doing it before.

I just tried it on Ver16.2 rather than 15.7 and it seems that this method does not work. Have you gotten this to work on 16.2 before? Please advise.

I have some Skill code to do this check. Let me know if you're interested.

Hello eDave, Thank you very much for the reply. I would be very interested in trying the skill file. I've never received a file on here so I don't know if you can send me a file directly, but please let me know where I can get the file or how I can get it from you. Thank you
