Yes, this is the outline of what to do:

Record a script to import the parameter file.

Save the script in one of the default "scriptpath" locations or set the script path as required to pick up the script.

Set the "script_startup" User Preference to use the parameter import script just created - see the User Preference summary for details of what needs to be set in the value.

    Thank you!

Is there a command for displaying variable values like the contents of $parampath etc.?

Check the "expand" button at the bottom of the User Preferences form when you have the specific preference open for editing.

Type "set" at the command line.

    Hi

If you know skill programming I would recommend that you look at axlTriggerSet. This function will allow you to run a specific command everytime you open a board file (e.g. import the parameter file (through skill or script) each time a board file is opened.

If you use the startup script function it will only execute when you run PCB Editor, not when you open a new file.

Similarly the skill command can be used with close, save and other commands.

    Best regards

    Ole
