fanout vs. pin escape

Hi

Does anyone know what the difference is between fanout and pin escape ?

    Hi

    Usually, the fanout means that a routing trace is drawn out from a SMD pad and connected to a PTH or a via.
    On the other hand, the pin escape means it is a neck-down trace such as a trace between fanout vias or BGA pads or PTH pins.
    In addition, such as the following,
    Nominal Trace Width:6mil, partially 4mil(pin escapes only)
