Footprint rename pin

Hello,

I have a footprint for a connector BUT i need to mirror the pin numbers eg Pin 1 needs to be Pin 2 and Pin 2 needs to become Pin 1.

In Layout, i could get a list of the pins and there physical X and Y locations. This made it easy to rename the pins without physically moving them using cut and paste methods.

In PCB Designer, can i get a view of where each pin is to allow me to rename them ?

cheers

Adrian

    The footprints are stored as .dra files.  You simply open the .dra, edit the pin number and save.

    There are a few *understood* steps in there but that is the general idea.

    What is not clear is whether or not you created the footprints or if you just received a .brd file with the footprints embedded?

    The footprint is a previoulsy created footprint that i want to modify.

    I figured out how to change the pin number.

    1. Ensure nothing is selected

    2. Edit ->  Text

    3. Select the pin and then change the text, which is actually chaning the Pin number.
