Capture deleting part properties (wrong forum perhaps)

If wrong forum please ignore. I inherited a Capture design that has dozens of non sensical part properties. I have at least 5 different "manufacturer number" with every possible combination of spelling and case style. I cannot delete any of these. I open the part property spreadsheet editor and select the one I want to get rid of and choose remove and it dissapears. I choose ok and then save to disk but upon reopening the editor the property is still there.

I have seen this before as well.  Are you selecting the entire column and selecting "Delete Properties?"

If yes, then you will see a pop-up box saying whether or not those properties were deleted.

If the value is greyed out then they are probably a part of the library symbol and have to be edited in the part editor. :(  Then a cache update needs to happen.

Has anybody solved this problem yet?

    I have 16.2.0.p001.

When trying to delete a property in the Allegro Design Entry CIS property editor I get this message:

"One or more properties are not deletable"

Those properties might come from CIS database parts and can't be deleted because they would lose integrity with database.

Look for "Transfer To Design" checkbox In CIS Config

Not true.  CIS injected part properties are not sticky like library added properties.  If deleted then you just have to re-sync in Part Manager one more time.
