Hi all,

I haveproblem with curved routing.

when I try to miter the trace for making it arc it miters only from one side of the trace and the other side is still on 45 degrees.

Please help how to miter the traces for making it arc.

Can you tell me in which tool option you are facing this problem??

Mitering can be done by several ways, at the time of routing you can do it by changing line to arc from option > line lock, or you can use slide tool after routing or it can be done by gloss after routing the whole board.

     Hi Khurram,

I know all the options you are talking about the problem was that when I choose arc in the option tab during mitering and click on the trace I want to miter it curved the rout but only from one side I do not want to run gloss because only some traces need to be rout using curve. but i fix now bu checking on the option "Add at Max" I dont know how but after checking on that option problem is solved.

    Regards

Can you tell me on which version you are working on, I didn’t face such kind of problem in 16.2.Have you checked the gloss by highlight or gloss by list features in Allegro, these options are used to run for selective nets as it is the case in your design.

     Hi Khurram,

Sorry for late reply I am working on 16.2. I never try gloss by highlight. but the problem is that the traces I want to rout with arcs have property of equal lenght. can glos tool keep the length of these traces equla?

    Best Regards
