design reuse

I know this is a memory test for some of the Layout users here but remember grouping parts then using design reuse to arrange identical groups. Does Editor have such ability?

If you are using 16.3 Allegro L or greater then you can try using the Replicate function (part of the placement application mode). Select the items you want to group then RMB - Place replicate create, make your group then use the place - replicate - apply to use it. It will work in 16.2 Allegro but only symbols (no etch). That was one of the enhancements at 16.3
