How can I view the jrl file as I edit?

I'd like to see the real commands used when I use a pull down, that way I can easily program an alias.

Thanks

Enter scriptmode +e in the command window. This echoes the commands you enter in the Allegro command window. Below shows the command 'property edit' from the pulldown Edit >Properties and then you see what was done in the Find Filter.

    Command > scriptmode +e
    CMD> property edit
Adjust find filter then select an element or group of elements.
    CMD> setwindow form.find
    CMD> FORM find all_off
    CMD> FORM find all_on
    CMD> FORM find name_type Net
    CMD> FORM find find_by_name

You can also record a script and view that in your favorite text editor to see which commands had been used.
