Allegro Design Entry CIS- hot keys

 Greetings,

Within the subject tool, what are the hot keys to zoom in, zoom out,  It is quite aggravating to constantly go to the tool bar and have to manipulate the display. I'm looking for feature similar to Allegro PCB Editor that has keys like F11 (Z-in), F12((Z-out) & F2 (full screen). I did a search but didn't find the answer. Thanks for the help

Cheers,

    I for Zoom IN

    O for Zoom OUT

    Been that way for 15+ years. :)

    Take a look at the VIEW menu and you will see the shortcut key next to the command (View->Zoom->In = I)

    Lots of useful single key commands in the tool -- I rarely use the menus...

    Hi

    A few keyboard strokes below

    i (i as India) -> Zoom ind

    o (o as Oscar) -> Zoom out

    c (c as Charlie) -> Zoom center – screen centers around mouse cursor. If you keep c pressed then Capture will pan and gives a much faster scroll than using the scroll panels. Try it, I think it is an extremely efficient way to use panning.

    p (p as Papa) -> Place Part

    w (w as Wiskey) -> Place Wire

    b (b as Bravo) -> Place Bus

    e (e as Echo) -> Place Bus Entry

    n (n as November) -> Place Net Alias (net label)

    j (j as Juliet) -> Place Junction

    g (g as Golf) -> Place ground

    f (f as Foxtrot) -> Place Power

    x (x as Xray) -> Place Noconnect

    t (t as Tango) -> Place Text

     Other one i found last month and so usefulle for me:

    Shift S : communicate to allegro.

    Exemple: in allergo, place-> component and in capture click on component and "Shift S" will place this component in allegro window.

     Note: allegro have to be launch with "-mpsession 'sale session of capture'"

    Usually this is the %username%

    Hi

    This should not be necessary with 16.3 and even 16.2

    Also, if you select place, manually in PCB Editor and then select or area select in Capture, then those components are selected in the place manually selection tree.

    Best regards

    Ole
