Creating Artwork

All,

Today is my first day with 16.3. I sent a file off to the board shop like I have a zillion times before and they wrote me back saying they didn't have a board outline with the dimensions. I found that to be odd but checked anyway. Everything seemed to be okay. Drill legend is present as well as the board outline and dimensions. However, I looked at that file with an external viewer and I saw what the CAM guy was talking about. Has something changed in 16.3? Quick help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ron Scott CID+

    I'm not seeing your issue.

    Some things to check:

    Allegro version:  I'm using 16.3 S005

Are the layers for your board outline and dimensions included in your Film Control?

Is Undefined Line Width set to something greater than zero for the film that has your board outline/dimensions?

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. It seems the install of 16.3 cleared out the settings in my artwork control form. Outline & board dimensions were fine and I had togo back and fill in the Undefined line Width.  Everything is right in the world again.

That is actually one of those pesky warnings during output... be sure to check the log files after Gerber to make sure some things don't slip under the radar. :)
