Using Concept Schematic HDL

Is there a way to generate a list, by page, of refdes that are on a page?

any help would be appreciated

Yes.  There is a tool call cross-reference (crefer) which is part of the project manager flow.   It will add concept schematic pages with refdes cross-reference and/or netname cross reference.  Be sure to read the setup manual that goes with it because it can be tricky.

    Thanks Redwire

the engineer used the crefer tool for the off sheet bullets for the signal net names

    that part works fine

what I was looking for was a way to generate a list of which Ref des were present on each page

    U2, C1, C2, C4, R4, R5 etc on page 2

    U4, C7, D2, SW1 etc on page 3

And my reply was complete. Crefer does this as well.  Have a look in the manual.

It is true that Crefer can do this, but the output may also include a zone information with a page number depending on the software version.
    Here is another way.

    ## BOM-HDL ##
    1. Run projmgr > Tools > Packager Utilities > Bill of Materials
    2. Template File > Click "Customize"
    3. Report Parameters Tab > RefDes > Select "Unique"
    4. Physical Part Specifications Tab > Check only "BOM_INST" and "PHYS_PAGE"
    5. Save As > Save the BOM template as an appropriate file name > Close
    6. Select "Generate"

    Example of the output
    Ref Des     PHYS_PAGE
    =======   ==========
    CR2                    2
    CR46                  2
    DAC1                 3
    DAC2                 3
    GA1                    6
    J101                   4
    J102                   4

    Hope this helps.
    Tomo

You can run the Cross Referencer (CreferHDL) and generate the report output.

There’s a report - crefparts.txt – that lists reference designators and the page

    zone details.
