Net_short property

I have tried to find help on this but not defined very well.

Can someone explain how this would be used to tie 2 separate ground nets at a common point?

I see this option in the Constraint manager under pins but not sure how to apply use it.

Is it just assigned on the PCB EDITOR side?

thanks

Two nets can be shorted in DEHDL (I believe they can also be shorted in OrCAD Capture by connecting two differently named power symbols).  At the back end (i.e. Allegro PCB) you'd use net_short property to get rid of the drc.
