creating board outline artwork

I've done this successfully on prior boards but now drawing a blank and not getting any data in the file according to the fab house. I've tried everything and cannot get any data in my board outline file. Help!

This sounds like a classic problem. In the artwork control for, make sure the "undefined line width" has a value in the box (suggest 8 or 10). This perplexing because you can set your data in your file but when the board house is looking at a gerber there will be nothing in the film unless you define line width.

    Cheers,

And if it is a 0 line width..tsk..tsk...check your logfiles -- they will report this as a warning.

It appears the only way to create it is with manufacturing/photoplot selected for the artwork. Board outline doesn't seem to work even with minimum line set to something other than 0.
