Pad attach to copper pour

 Hello,

I have a mounting hole that has a copper ring around it. The pad is connected to GND.

I have a copper pour attach to GND that goes around it.

I would like the pad to be connected directly to the copper pour instead of just the track conecting the pad to the copper pour.

( At the moment i see the track and a ring of anticopper around it, instead of a continuous copper fill )

     I have solved this.

In Shapes -> Global Dynamic parameters

under the tab 'thermal relief connects' i changed Thru pins  to be Full contact.

    Hi Adeshere,

A better way is to Edit>Properties, change Find to Pins, select the pin you want, select Dyn_Thermal_Con_Type (Availiable Properties), select the drop down and pick FULL_CONTACT.  That way only that pin will be Full Contact, if you do it under the Global Dymanic parameters all Thru Pins will be Full Contact.
