DXF Question

 Hello,

I am working Orcad 16.2 Layout Plus. When I get a DXF from a Mechanical Engineer and load it in it comes in fine, I'll save it to a library file. My question is How do I snap a pad to the center of pad locations on the DXF drawing that I have in the library?

Under tools there is a snap to Pad,Board, ect. but not to the center of the DXF location (Library part I am makeing).

 Any Help is appreacated.

I hope I didn't confuse you

Thanks, Dennis

     Greetings,

If I understand your question correctly, all you're trying to do is place a pad in the center of the the file. Determine the origin of your part and when you place your pad; simply type in the appropriate coordinates in the command line (e.g. x 1234 y 5678)

    Cheers,
